My friends hate?

Ok so I really like Aly and AJ and my two friends really can't stand them and think in their song Potential Breakup Song it is Shakira singing. They both like Green Day and always say something mean about what I like. What should I do???

Reply:friends disagree on things. Dont let a diffrence in music split you guys apart. If you dont like wat they say tell them that you can listen to wat u like and they shouldnt have a problem with it.

Reply:Make it clear that you like them and you don't care what they think and just ignore them. They aren't being good friends if they aren't respecting what you like granted it isn't what they like. Some friends just have differences and that's okay but once they start making fun or you in a mean way and it hurts your feelings, then it's not okay. Be strong and be honest with them and if they aren't respectful, then just ignore them.
