My friends hate?

Ok so I really like Aly and AJ and my two friends really can't stand them and think in their song Potential Breakup Song it is Shakira singing. They both like Green Day and always say something mean about what I like. What should I do???

Reply:No one can tell you what to like. You don't have to make any excuses for yourself. Ignore your friends' comments, and don't bother trying to tell them that A%26amp;AJ are cool. If they have so little respect for you that they want to insult your taste in music, screw 'em!

Reply:Make it clear that you like them and you don't care what they think and just ignore them. They aren't being good friends if they aren't respecting what you like granted it isn't what they like. Some friends just have differences and that's okay but once they start making fun or you in a mean way and it hurts your feelings, then it's not okay. Be strong and be honest with them and if they aren't respectful, then just ignore them.

Ok I know most of you probably have listenend to a least 1 or maybe all of these songs. But they are actually really bad, even if you get the clean version they are still nasty and just bad. Yeah, it might take all the cuss words out, but that is not all that is questionable. There are totally clean songs with great beats that you could be listening to instead.
